NovaMechanics Ltd is a research and innovation SME based in Cyprus specialising in computational modelling, cheminformatics and nanoinformatics, data analytics, machine learning and the development of scientific software. A central objective of NovaMechanics is to transform advanced computational methodologies into practical and accessible digital tools that can be used by researchers, industry and, ultimately, regulatory stakeholders.
Within CHIASMA, this expertise is being applied to one of the project’s central ambitions: advancing the use of New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) for the safety and sustainability assessment of chemicals and advanced materials. CHIASMA brings together experimental, computational and data-driven approaches with the aim of reducing reliance on conventional animal testing and supporting next-generation safety assessment.

A central element of contribution to CHIASMA is the translation of computational methods and predictive models into accessible digital services through the Enalos Cloud Platform. A dedicated CHIASMA environment has been developed by NovaMechanics, established/hosted within Enalos Cloud Platform, bringing together computational tools developed and deployed in the context of the project. The services are provided through user-friendly web interfaces and are accompanied, where applicable, by documentation and APIs, facilitating their use and integration beyond specialist computational environments.
